Croeso Cynnes Laugharne is a small volunteer-run social enterprise in the heart of our community. We meet on the second Friday and fourth Friday of every month, from 11 am to 2 pm at Laugharne Memorial Hall.

At our session on 14 August NACRO are with us once again. NACRO Connecting Carmarthenshire is a preventative support service based in Carmarthenshire offering free advice, signposting & support to anyone within the county so they may continue to live safely and independently within their own homes, in their own communities. So, come along if you are looking for advice or have questions!

Alongside that, it's time to get creative as there’s an opportunity to decorate your own tote bag! 

At Croeso 2 on Friday 28 August, we're delighted to welcome Charlie Eastabrook, whose group will be giving a demonstration of traditional wool spinning. Come along to discover how raw fleece is transformed into yarn using time-honoured techniques, and enjoy the opportunity to ask questions and see this traditional craft in action.

In September, we shall be joined by Diane Milner, a Senior Nurse from Marie Curie's future care planning service, which collaborates with local GP surgeries to help patients record end-of-life wishes. They helps individuals express and document personal care preferences if they lose the ability to communicate and provide a safe space and time to discuss wishes with loved ones and medical professionals.

Croeso Cynnes is open to everyone. Why not come along, meet old friends, make new ones, and enjoy good food and good conversation in a relaxed and welcoming environment? We look forward to seeing you on Friday.
